Kearsley Methodist Church hall
The hall has a dry back room sitting empty four days a week. Proposal is a shared tool library — SDS drill, tile cutter, pressure washer, scaffold tower, strimmer — borrowed on a deposit, stored on a rack we build ourselves.
Cost below is the rack, the starting tools second-hand, and a year of insurance. Ongoing cost is nil if borrowing covers replacement. Objections stay published: if you think this competes with the hire shop on Bolton Road, say so here and it goes in the ledger.

4.1 kWp on a south-east facing roof, installed last September, £6,180 all in. Generated 3,340 kWh over the year. Self-consumed 58% of it, which is higher than the installer predicted because we moved the washing to the middle of the day.
Bill before: £1,410. Bill after, including export: £520. What went wrong: the first inverter failed in February and took five weeks to replace, which is the part nobody puts in the brochure.
